Hello Davidson Businesses!
Our comprehensive plan process is underway and we’d like to hear from all Davidson-based businesses! As part of this process, Clarion Associates, the consulting team facilitating the creation of the plan, will host meetings with stakeholders to discuss the town’s mission, vision, core values, and planning principles. We’d really like for you, as members of Davidson’s business community – corporations, small businesses, retailers, merchants, restaurant owners, home-based business owners, etc. -- to have a chance to provide input. The purpose of these interviews is to provide an opportunity to engage in a candid conversation with stakeholders on the future of Davidson. This information will help identify the specific policy choices that will be tested with the larger community in later workshops this winter/spring. A summary of interview themes will be prepared and included in a public engagement report.
To give you a preview, here are a couple of the questions you’ll be asked to consider at this meeting:
1. What do you think are the major challenges and opportunities facing Davidson today and over the next 10-20 years?
2. What do you need from the Town of Davidson to support your success? What are business opportunities or challenges facing the community?
