Town of Davidson Announces New Website
The Town of Davidson is pleased to announce its new website; we encourage you to visit us at www.townofdavidson.org. Our core values state: Open communication is essential to an engaged citizenry, so town government will seek and provide accurate, timely information and promote public discussion of important issues. Our website is an important tool for communicating with, informing, and engaging with our citizens.
“Our goal was to improve navigation and information on our website to make it easier for citizens to find answers to their questions,” said Town Manager Leamon Brice.
Citizens can get information in a variety of ways:
• Via our new navigation tabs: “Residents,” “Town Government,” “Doing Business,” “Things To Do,” and “How Do I?”
• Using the green icons to sign up for our eCrier emails; register for CharMeck Alerts to get emergency alerts and notifications via phone, text, and email; check the garbage and recycling schedule; use the staff directory; and view the events calendar
• Stay current on projects and important news in the project section under the green icons
• Get up-to-date news in our “News Flash” and “Spotlight” boxes
“We hope this more visually appealing website is intuitive for our users and conveys our great sense of community to our citizens and visitors,” said Public Information Officer Cristina Shaul.
