The April is for Arts Gallery Crawl takes place on Friday, April 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Our Main Street and South Main Street businesses and sidewalks will be transformed into lively art galleries. Homewood Suites at the Circles @ 30 will also showcase many artists.
Trolleys will transport “crawlers” from our neighborhoods (Davidson Landing/North Harbor area, St. Alban’s, McConnell, and River Run) to view the various exhibits.  Please visit www.townofdavidson.org/trolley for a map of all participating locations and trolley stops.

Also on Friday, April 21, we are partnering with DavidsonLearns to offer a sculpture tour. The group will meet in front of town hall at 7:00 p.m. to hear Davidson College art professor Cort Savage discuss public art in town and then will  take a trolley to Davidson’s campus for a tour of its sculptures. There is no need to register for this event – simply show up!

Sunday, April 23 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. is the return of our popular Concerts on the Green series.  The Davidson College Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble will kick off the concert season with a lively performance on the library stage. Please bring your own picnic to enjoy on the town green or purchase food from our local restaurants that will be open that evening.
