Christmas in Davidson Ornament Now For Sale

One of our holiday traditions is to designate a Christmas in Davidson ornament made by a Davidson-based artist for sale during the holiday season. This year’s ornament was designed by Davidson artist Alice Garbrick and Kathy Feezor of Davidson Watercolor. It is a 3-1/4 x 2-3/8-inch white porcelain ornament featuring a “Christmas in Davidson” horse-drawn carriage on Main Street in front of Summit Coffee and Main Street Books.

The ornament will retail for $12 at Main Street Books, The Village Store, and The Soda Shop and can also be purchased directly from Davidson Watercolor via DavidsonWatercolor@bellsouth.net.

“We started the Davidson Watercolor business because we so much enjoy living in this special town,” said Garbrick. “Our Christmas ornaments are among our most popular products and we hope people will enjoy the one we created this year.”

Small Business Saturday

“We encourage our citizens to support our local businesses on Small Business Saturday on November 28,” said Economic Development Manager Kim Fleming. “That would be a perfect day to buy an ornament.”
