Beginner Bike Repair

This course is intended for students with little or no bicycle maintenance experience. Never fixed a flat before? Unsure of when to clean your chain? Brakes are a mystery to you? This 1.5-hour course covers bike anatomy, brakes and shifters, wheel removal, tire & tube replacement, cleaning the bike, and lubricating the chain. Bring your own bike to work on and wear clothes you won’t mind getting dirty. Age 12 and older.

Forest bathing, or Shinrin Yoku is a science-backed wellness practice, originating in Japan more that 30 years ago. Some of the proven benefits are reduced stress, improved mood, lower your blood pressure and a boosted immune system. In the 2 1/2 hour session, the forest is the therapist and Julie Sczerbinski, your ANFT Therapy Guide opens the door for you to deeply connect with nature through a series of sensory connection invitations designed to help you slow down and lean into the sensation of being alive. You will discover a new way to be in nature, let go of stress and become fully present as you connect with the natural world, yourself and others.
