Roosevelt Wilson Park
Public Information Session:
Saturday, September 12 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Citizens are invited to a public information session at Roosevelt Wilson Park, located at 420 Griffith Street, on Saturday, September 12 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. to learn about the improvements we’ve already made to the park and plans for future improvements, and also to provide input on a new play feature for the park.

“Roosevelt Wilson Park is used by so many of our citizens,” said Davidson Parks & Recreation Director Kathryn Spatz. “One of our core values states that the physical and social wellbeing of Davidson citizens is fundamental to our community, so we will continue to focus on improving the park.

To date, we have installed a new boardwalk across the pond, including two fishing piers, we improved the walkways, and we added a memorial tree garden of Okame Cherry trees that produce beautiful blooms each year.
