What You Ought to Know About Estate Planning

Learn about the four pillars of estate planning and how to simply and methodically put together an estate plan for yourself. Davidson's leading financial strategist, David Hedges, will be talking about the strategies that he has advised his clients to use for the past 22 years. He will also be joined by an area estate planning attorney who will be on hand to answer your questions. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

PJs and Paintbrushes

Parents, could you use a night out? Make plans to drop off your young artist, dressed in their cozy pajamas, for an evening of painting fun. While you are off enjoying a quiet dinner, your student will be set up with everything needed to create a festive fall themed project landscape. With oodles of acrylic paints, paintbrushes, canvas, art smocks, and easels, participants will walk away with a whimsical masterpiece. Grades 1-5.

Family Scarecrow-Making Event

Bring your family for this scarecrow-making event and create a scarecrow for the remainder of the fall. Families will create a life-sized scarecrow. Some materials are provided, but families are encouraged to bring clothing or accessories to help with their creation. One scarecrow per family.

Afterschool Coding

Your kids will have fun playing games while learning about coding. They will learn about algorithms, loops, conditions, sequencing, problem solving, debugging, and internet safety. Feel free to bring your own computer/mouse, tablet or one can be provided. Grade 2-5.

Afterschool Basketball

 This 5-week program will focus on developing player’s basketball “IQ” and skill development in a fun, positive environment. Coach Verlin works on challenging players at their own level, while developing positive individual and team mindsets. This program will involve drills that work on both team and individual skills, as well as offensive and defensive team concepts. All abilities welcome!
