Social Security and Medicare

Learn the strategies and the methods needed to claim your Social Security and how to receive your maximum benefit amount based on your needs and tax considerations. Also, you will learn about filing for Medicare and how to choose the right Medicare Supplement, Advantage and/or Part D plan. This session program taught by David Hedges of Bookman Bright Tax & Consulting will include an interactive workbook as well as a customized Social Security claiming report. Couples rate is per household. Sandwiches and refreshments will be provided.

PJs and Paintbrushes

Parents, could you and your kiddo use a night out on the town? Make plans to drop off your young artist  for an entertaining evening of painting. While you are off enjoying a quiet dinner or perhaps some shopping, each student will use acrylic paints to create a whimsical and holiday-themed masterpiece that is sure to add a little sparkle to any room. Space is limited, so sign up today.

Ben & Jerry's Winter Camps

Need somewhere for the kiddos to hang out during the Christmas break?  Consider Ben & Jerry’s in Davidson’s morning camps December 20-22nd,  9- noon and held at Ben & Jerry’s, 202 South Main Street, Davidson.  Ages 6 and up.  Sign up for one or all!

Creative Art Journaling

Discover your inner wisdom, change your world. Art journaling is a gentle, playful way of creating using simple art techniques to engage your curiosity, invite wonder and explore inner wisdom. All materials are provided by the instructor.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer)

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer, three simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. QPR can be learned in our Gatekeeper course in as little as one hour. Age 13 and older.
