Roosevelt Wilson Park Playground will be Closed
June 12-15 for Work

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) continues their work to remediate asbestos from the properties along Depot, Sloan, Eden, and a few other streets in town.  As part of that work, the playground area at Roosevelt Wilson Park, located at 420 Griffith Street, will be closed from June 12-15 (weather-permitting). Signage will be placed around the playground area and park entrances to advise park visitors.

“We are so pleased that the appropriate agencies are in place to remediate the asbestos in town to ensure the safety of our citizens and visitors,” said Town Manager Jamie Justice.
