Exploring Earth Science with

Exploding volcanoes, shaking earthquakes, and storming oceans! Participate in fun activities and explain the forces that shape our planet. We will learn about volcanoes, earthquakes, water, rocks and fossils, and the atmosphere using activities that are hands-on and integrated with games, art, and technology. Race in water relays, make your own rock collection, have your hair stand on end with lightning, perform magic air pressure tricks, and create tornadoes; come join the fun! Dress for mess -- we will use plaster, paint, and more for projects. Grade: rising 2-5.

Photography Camp

Join us for a week of taking pictures of all kinds of subjects from bugs to people to fashion and flowers and more. Age 8-12.

Upcycled Art Camp

Explore how to turn discarded objects into new fabulous unique products! Campers will learn how to turn recycled materials into amazing artistic creations including sculptures, décor, and wearable art. Upcycling is a perfect way to transform any unwanted materials into one-of-a-kind art pieces! All materials provided. Reoccurring sessions of this camp offered throughout the summer will offer diversified content. Age 8-12.

GoGo Clay: Awesome Aussie Animals

G’day mates! Students will learn about the biodiversity of Australia while creating their favorite animals from the land down under. Blowfish, kangaroos, crocodiles, and more! In this fun and interactive camp, participants will learn basic ceramics techniques such as coiling, pinching, slab building, and texturing. Age 5-10.

Mad Science

Spy Camp

James Bond? Agent 99? Austin Powers?!? Do you think you have what it takes to discover "who done it?" You sleuth out the answers and see if you have what it takes. Send mad messages and use codes to send secret transmissions.Campers will experiment with color-changing paper, make their own invisible ink, and create other spy tools out of everyday stuff. They’ll team up with fellow campers to learn how to dust and lift for fingerprinting while collect evidence to solve mysteries! Grade: rising 1-6.

Loco Motion

It’s all about moving – wheels, wings, and the “Wright” stuff! Spend the week looking into how things move and the forces behind them. Explore the galaxy and study rocket flight. Race with rubber band powered cars and heli-flyers. Learn about inertia and be able to do the magician’s tablecloth pull. This camp is for rising 1st-6th graders.

Learn fundamentals of computer networking through this Minecraft experience that also allows you and your friends to work in multiplayer mode as you mine, craft, and build together to survive. Use your skills to explore all the secrets the world has to offer using mods created especially for this program. This camp is great for beginners as well as Minecraft experts. Age 8-12.

Dedicated to breaking the potential cycle of victimization, the radKIDS® program is a nationally certified child safety organization. Participants will engage in hands-on demonstrations, including best practices in dealing with bullies and strangers, protecting your personal space, home and school safety, 911 telecommunications, and internet safety. Parents are encouraged to attend a graduation ceremony on Friday where participants will demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Age 5-7 or 8-12.
