The Town of Davidson Posts New Question on Open Town Hall:
Leaf Collection

The Town of Davidson has posted a new question on Open Town Hall, an online platform designed to engage citizens in a conversation and harness their input on important town projects and issues.
Town officials and staff will use this public input to help guide their decision-making process. Further, the town aims to engage citizens by sharing information on each issue and providing more opportunities for citizen interaction and feedback.

This new topic on Open Town Hall asks: “What do you think about vacuum-truck leaf collection?” Citizens can access Open Town Hall directly by going to www.townofdavidson.org/OpenTownHall or by clicking the green “Open Town Hall” icon in the center right of the homepage at www.townofdavidson.org. Citizens can read what others are saying about the topic, and share their opinions. Citizens will need to join by logging in with an email address, after which they will receive an activation email from Peak Democracy, and can choose to post a comment to the topic with or without his or her name.

“At their March 8 meeting, the Davidson Mayor and Commissioners discussed the possibility of offering vacuum truck leaf collection service to residential single-family homes within Town of Davidson limits,” said Town Manager Jamie Justice. “We would like citizens’ input on leaf collection to help guide the Davidson Board of Commissioners’ decision process for the FY 2016-2017 budget.’”
